I just called Stalla. The Lecture and Passmaster software CDs are being mailed on December 30. I did receive the study guides, flashcards, etc. but I am not starting until I receive the CDs. Giddy up

I saw the Passmaster CD (Level 2, 2009) with my own eyes at a Stalla seller…I also ordered and was told I should be getting it within a few days!

FYI, you can select “Show Captions” on the Stalla CDs. It will provide the captions of what the presenter is saying. Great to pause and copy. Easier than trying to listen and write. Just figured this out last night.

I am ordering mine on Friday. That should allow me to return it if god-forbid I failed L1 in december. I’ll start with the Book 1 pdf right away.

Relax, all material (except the Mock self CD) is available now (the Mock will be here about April or so). I’ve just been mailed that the second set of CDs is on its way.

I wish I had pulled the trigger on the Stalla. Already sold. I’m tired of reading and want to give Olinto a shot this go around.

I bought Stalla this time around :wink: I just found that Schweser package when snooping around on eBay. After failing Level 1 once with Schweser, I’m going to test out Stalla’s style.

You’re either going to love it, or hate it, depending on the outcome of the exam:) Olinto is really great (energetic, engaging, interactive). Not so sure about the other 2 (Ben Jones, which seems a bit hesitant- in efforts to be “friendly” , but a smart guy otherwise, and David Hetherington that has a very monotone voice, again a smart gentleman:)). Overall, I think you’re going to like it. Too bad Stalla’s L3 is a missed point (or so people tell, ZERO Olinto at L3).

Plenty of people going for Schweser’s videos (use the search function). Just that in this thread people are discussing Stalla (as per the thread title).

I prefer the CFAI materials. I didn’t take a single finance or business type class as an undergrad, I think I need the full depth. Schweser/Stalla are way too much $$$ for me, though I would love to have them
