I’ve also had work experience approved by CFAI and the local society. I’ve paid my dues to both. I’ve filled everything else out online. I’ve activated my membership. Do I have to wait to receive a charter in the mail before I’m technically a CFA Charterholder?
I’ve got a final interview in the coming days. I was hoping to say I was a Charterholder, but I feel like that is jumping the gun a little?

Hey Tommy - Check the CFAI member directory. If it has your name listed with the “, CFA” afterwards I think you’re good to go. I am in the same boat, been a member of CFAI and local society for a while and all paid up on dues. My name has the designation after it in the directory now, saying I was awarded the charter on 8/11/2015.
Passed! First time taker. The same as Tahi, I have shitty AM with 7 Qs under 51%. Not a single set above 70%. PM somehow pulled me through. Totally I have 8 sets under 50%. My baby boy was born in April prematurely and stayed in NICU for ten days. I guess I’m just lucky to pass level III. Just copied Tahi’s format. Thanks ahead. Congratulations to everyone who passed.
