2015 CFA LEVEL III RESULTS THREAD !!

Congratulations, rizjiji!

My journey:

2011: CFA Level 1 passed

2012: CFA Level II failed

2013: CFA Level II passed

2014: No exam taken

2015: CFA Level III passed

Congratulations, dwheats!

Passed!! So freakin relieved - my first child/son is due in just over a month and to not have to deliberate on putting my wife through this again is cause for my biggest smile today. Band 5 last year which was devastating and no less understanding of the material in my opinion. Came down to a revised exam technique and quicker recall than prior year, although the results clearly suggest I struggle with the AM format, despite thinking on exam day that it fell in my lap! PM pulled me up and my 40/60/80 was 67% - bang on my average mock score, however, PM never so solid before. Level I and II I was always scattered but hit the big allocations, befitting that the randomness of ethics stopped me from a sweep.

First post ever on here so I want to use the opportunity to provide strong words of encouragement to those who fell short this time, you will work hard for next year and you will figure it out, too close to turn away and many want to be in your shoes that are not even here yet!.

I owe so many thanks to so many people on here as I have peered in over the years - your all incredibly generous with your knowledge and time…

Failed, band 4 - Completely bombed the morning (which I kinda knew walking out), did not crush the afternoon, which appears to be key here. Hopefully 2016 is the year… 3 years and counting… Ugh! Hopefully all this studying for these designations ends then…

Congrats to all those who passed, well done!

I did some performance measurement analysing the result of some of our “friends” such as Vicky_cool400, Altaf9; MikeNN, Traveller and some others. The conclusion I draw from my analysis is that the MPS this year is somewhere a little bit more than 59% which is good providing that the minimum average score is 40%. What do you think?
