50+ dead, 400+ injured in Vegas mass shooting

You’re up ltj

yeah I’m the guy in a very nice italian suit and a semi-fancy shoes with usuable yet trendy bag with pretty good looking resume and equally impressive looking business card…I predict what the start up company will be worth in a few years and what the overall economy will do and how that will affect the said company…hoping for the unicorn of course…Hang out with fellow progressives whether that is another fellow like myself or a lower house representative from upper west side or a prosector in lower manhattan or some phd scientist at columbia who went to my undergrad. Then go home to westchester county and call it a good night. yes all progressive liberals in a posh place in a posh work place in a very diversified city of NYC.

However, I do read non fiction books that have the opposite conclusion to mine…Consequently, i have read dozens of books by right wingers…Always make for good “outside the bubble” thoughts and good debate among friends/networks.

i hope this makes you happy. those are all the signs of a successful life.

I’m waiting for the powerball man…When I do my family is moving out to San Diego…Drive a 488 gtb as a daily.

and THEN you’ll be able to live the good life. makes sense.

It’s always a good look to prove how spiritually connected you are by browbeating people. No really, you definitely have what others want. It’s intoxicating.

nope nope nope. inferiority complex ftw from ltj, yet again.

Bumping thread, following shootings in El Paso and Dayton over the weekend. I posted the cartoon below - originally published in 2011 - on first page of this thread.

Parents raised a bunch of fucking pussies if you ask me. I swear to God, we need to start punishing the parents too.

Getting laid is NOT fucking hard. Go to the gym, work on your appearance, read a damn book, just be SLIGHTLY interesting. But instead, the parents raised a bunch of crybaby phaggot pussies with the charisma of a rotary phone, and the personality of a chair. God damn, I’m pissed.

Nice, in 2011 I tackled the issue pretty thoroughly over the ensuing 10 pages, so that saves some work.

I use alcohol as a defense mechanism, so there.

I own a gun. I carry it around with me. I have a concealed carry permit. Most nearly everybody who knows me knows this about me.

Possibly not coincidentally, nobody has ever robbed me, mugged me, attacked me, or shot at me. They don’t do so because they know I’ll put a bullet in their chest.

Where does this show up in the archives? (I think we called it “deterrence” in another thread.)

I don’t own a handgun. I don’t carry it around with me. I don’t have a concealed carry permit. Most people who know me probably know this about me.

Possibly not coincidentally, nobody has ever robbed me, mugged me, attacked me, or shot at me. They don’t do so because that’s just statistically not a thing that is likely to happen to anyone.

You don’t carry the handgun around with you that you don’t have?

And yet, I’ve never been shot at!

So in the last year you got a CCP and told everyone about it?

Not sure if this has been mentioned but maybe if we gave tax deductions or credits for firearm and ammunition purchases, it would help. Make America Safe Again!
