I read the article and found only one of the nine points to be remotely useful.
“Take a deep breath” Really? This is the awe-inspiring, earth-shattering advice you have for us?
“Know the format.” No s–t, sherlock.
“Practice writing.” Again, no s–t.
“Focus on the curriculum.” Really? We should read the study material that the CFA provides? Who knew?
“Work on time management.” True with every timed test since the beginning of timed tests.
“Don’t work so fast you get stuff wrong.” Again, this has always been true with every aspect of life–ever.
“Take practice tests.” If you don’t already know this…I don’t know what to tell you.

you be surprised how many folks fail bc they dont have a plan and choke on exam day
but since ur a cfa charteholder you didnt have any issues
