Advice for retaking CFA Level 1

Hey guys, I do need your advice over this. I had just attended CFA Lvl 1 exam in December and I did feel I am not doing good enough and had come across a lot of unfamiliar questions. I think I need to retake it. But should I take it in June or next December? I am currently a final year student but I still have no any relevant investment experience. For first half year, I had planned to pick up some investment skills and to learn basic financial modelling which helps me prepare investment analysis. Hopefully that could secure me a job. I am afraid if I could cope with both tasks at this moment. Please feel free to comment. Thanks

Do you have an older cousin (or young uncle) who goes by the handle qqqbee?

take it earlier the better

Don’t really get you.

Okay thanks. Will it help your job hunting if I just pass level 1?

I dont think you just passing level 1 will help Itera’s job hunting…

Well thanks for the thread . I don’t get it…

What are you studying? Seems to me that if you are a finance major, you should be picking up theoretical investment skills and basic financial modelling as part of your studies.

No one will test your excel skills or financial modeling skills other than linking cells and basic understanding of three statements for entry level positions in finance out of school…

unless you go into IB…
