Are videos a good way to learn for level 3?

He does a cameo for ethics.

He might have. Because I’ve seen a 2014 L3 Schweser video where Andy Holmes is teaching but I can’t remember the exact Reading though. He starts off by welcoming you and asks you to really put as much effort to passing L3 because you wouldn’t want to see his face again. I lol’d

I did not take a class for level 1 or 2. However, I splurged on level 3 because you need a solid approach for the essays. A course/videos certainly help.

So, yes - buckle down and spend the money.

True that. Don’t be http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/penny+wise+and+pound+foolish

Sigh…haven’t used videos for 1 or 2. But probably need a few to get into a level 3 mindset. I keep hearing that we need to think beyond “deterministic” type of questions. Gna be a looong study period

Can anyone share with me CFA Level 3 Videos of Arif Irfanullah

Well he has been on them for a few years. However only for the introductory portion of the Code and Standards. In addition there are Dave Hetherington, Greg Filbeck, Marc Lefebre and Bruce Kuhlmann (what a phantastic name!!!). Dave and Greg are ok, not to Olinto’s or Andy’s level though…but not the L1 guys (forgot the names but one guy who was lipp smacking all the time and just read the stuff off the script…, served me well as white noise).

Hetherington is the man.

Sorry, corrected now

David’s a great guy, and he knows his stuff.

Probably not without copyright infringement.

Last year he made behavioural finance videos available free of charge. Here is the link to 7 day free trial

Presumably the original request wasn’t for videos that the requester could get for free on his own.

Everyone’s different but neither I nor people in my circle used videos. Majority I met with have studied from CFAI/Schweser books only.

Absolutely, and very responsive. What I liked best about my experience with him as an instructor was his no-nonsense approach - practical, straight to the point and does not mince words.

The videos are pretty helpful but not as helpful as level 3, IMO. Schweser has some good ones and they even archive videos on past AM questions. I didn’t get to look at those since I am the king of procrastinating.
