Brain Teaser: Jelly Beans

I googled it and apparently there’s a whole equation to solve it…definitely wasn’t my train of thought.

I wish you would all stop talking so I can go back to not feeling stupid.

Yeah, I tried to build an equation but gave up.

Pull one out of the one labeled “Mixed.”

They are ALL mislabeled, so whatever flavor that one is designates the label for that one.

Now you have a mixed label and a “pure” label left and two “pure” jars.

The pure label cannot go on the jar that it was originally on, so you have to switch that over to the only other one left, and the mixed goes on that one.

Example: You draw Grape out of the “Mixed.” You now switch the P/B off of the “P/B” jar and onto the “Grape” jar and the Mixed label goes onto the “P/B” Jar.

Example 2: You draw PB out of the “Mixed.” You now switch the Grape off the “Grape” jar and onto the “P/B” and put the Mixed on the “Grape.”

Note: Quotations represent original labels (which are incorrect)

Good work on the jelly beans. You are a smart crew.
