- Abandoning all forms of diet and exercise for 3 weeks.
This, except buffalo chicken finger subs and dominos #moredamagedonethanyou
- Not having to be social.
I will miss being able to say no without any questioning
- The dirty, nasty playoff beard I rocked after not caring about physical appearance.
Add to that long hair looking like ron burgundy from anchorman when he is drinking milk on a hot day
- Drinking a corona and writing a mock AM exam at 9am. It’s the kind of things dreams are made of
OK- that is interesting, never went that route good for you
Things I will not miss about CFA studying.
- Having to use up most of my vacation time studying.
seconded, + sick time and snow days
- Spending 2 months working out to recover the damage of a few short weeks of eating crap.
Still trying to recover after 2.5 months
3.) Having to spend extra time with my girlfriend to recover from the 3 months I basically ignored her (not that this is a bad thing)
4.) Working and studying at the same time
- The constant roller coaster push/pull of I am doing enough to pass vs I am not doing enough
6.) Feeling good then taking another mock and having a panic attack
7.) Walking 2 miles a day on coffee runs to quell the anxiety
I missed studying so much I signed up for the Series 79 exam the day I was told I could put , CFA after my name. Gave myself 2 weeks to study for it and barely passed (80 vs 73).
Now I really dont have any excuses when people ask me to do stuff…
I miss the last 3-4 weeks. Hammering away practice qs and seeing How it all comes together. And sitting in the library in May seing the girls dressing less and less every day… I would like to believe in Karma. I lent my spare calculator to a L3 candidate in 2015. will never forget the Expression on his face, Walking into the center and realizing he had forgotten the damn Thing at home. first Swiss nerd he asked told him to fuck off. I handed him my spare one and was actually afraid the Batterie would die, as its a pretty Old calculator. He passed and said he would Show up at the test center on exam day the following year to help out anyone who had forgotten either the calculator, pens, etc. He did show up this year. I wrote the exam with my spare calculator. I will carry on and go to the test center on the first Sat in June 2017 to encourage friends as well as to potentially hand over this calculator that has passed L3 twice in a row at first attempt.
