Does This Work Experience Count?

I just took L3 earlier this month and just had a question regarding satisfying the work experience requirements for the Charter. I am just about to finish my second year as an investment analyst on a principal investing desk at a bulge bracket bank–which on its face isn’t enough experience to qualify based on 4-year requirement.

However, in college I actually launched a startup my sophomore year and sold it my senior year. During this time, I was in charge of capital budgeting and allocation, fundraising from VCs (in which I ran a ton of capital structure and returns models to determine payouts), modeling different marketing strategies to determine best ROIC, and managing our accounting books.

So my question is–despite the fact that I was in college, could I count this startup experience to satisfy the work requirement and get the Charter?
