Equity Research boutique

Has anyone here worked at Sidoti? I’m interested in your experience working there. What was the typical bonus? I’m contemplating joining the firm however have seen some negative reviews. This is my best opportunity to get into equity research and feel that if I wasn’t happy I could leave in a year and at least gain some experience. Any thoughts?

If it’s your best chance, and you want to get in ER, then do it. It’s hard enough for new folks to get in, why would you turn it down even if it’s not a top name?

Get in. get your 4 FINRA licenses at the very least. and get some experience to spring board into something else.

Dude, putting the name of the company when its small like that is not a good idea.

suggest you remove, as they will know who you are.

Place is like a revolving door anyway. They won’t find out and even if it do, what difference does it make?

With having a charter I would almost guarantee you get into better places. Their research product is not thought provoking and is questionable if they steal their forecast from someone else. Coverage space is countless names, with no real value add. Really curious as to who allocates trades through them and why.

I read countless research reports daily, so I may be slightly biased.

^ hey look, I wasn’t the one to bring down the hammer this time. Ha you naysayers that think Im only the harbinger of bad news
