Hi everybody my name is abi m from Latvia but live in the uk. Im doing CFA level 1 and was wondering if anybody could share some tips withi me about the jobs they have and any advice for me in my application.

Also where are the best firms to apply ie the small ones in London that would employ someone studying the CFA. I’m doing the CFA all by myself no funding by a company etc, if worked so hard and want to carry on studying I’m hoping I can get a place somewhere even if it’s for experience that can help me

I worked in marketing but that it really. Tbh I don’t have much experience in work I’ve spent most my life trying to save my money and study my degree is in business mana agreement but I did a lot of finance related modules and now I’m doing the CFA, next year I hope to do my masters and I just want some experience in working in finance even if it’s volunteer il do it for free I just want a chance and opportunity. Any advice will be helpful, useless comments please keep to yourself

if that is your real picture, you can try going for sales positions. Not to be sexist. But a girl with decent looks has an advantage there guys wont have.

Yes it is my real photo I have Skype and Facebook to verify I exist. But I don’t think I put myself of well on the cv which let’s me down.
