A quick Google search shows that this is an article published by “American Renaissance” magazine in 2003. It’s kind of an odd website with lots of articles about social issues related to race. However, I can’t detect any real agenda from the website. It seems like they are just putting up these articles for informational (?) purposes.

I thought the article was very interesting and not judgmental or unsympathetic. I did read the entire article, which is comprised of a series of observations by the attorney of the behavior of his clients; it does not contain exptrapolative conclusions or judgments on these behaviors.

If these behaviors are indeed endemic among blacks, then it should not be taboo to bring the problems to broad attention. “Donald” has done a great service through his honesty. Instead of denial and defensiveness, introspective self criticism is the productive response to observations like this.

Note that ohai proved with this comment that he is not only a racist but also a complete moron. Seriously, how dumb are you?

I, for one, mostly agree with Ohai. However, a lot of this is probably not limited to the black community. There’s a lot of swampy or trailer-trash white folk out there who have a similar kind of ignorance about them.

I’m surprised people actually read lengthy posts like the original one. As soon as I saw the length, I moved to the next thread. Even all the comments about it doesnt entice me to read that novel.
