Aren’t all NFL players homos? Wearing all that padding and shiz…
He’s not gay. He’s just an idiot.
Mike and Mike reported that he said he’ll be the first WR to break 2,000. Not gonna happen. Bryant’s got the talent, but not better than Megatron. Also doesn’t have the QB that Megatron has. Not to mention, Romo has plenty of other weapons, including one of the best TE’s ever, another WR who would probably #1 on about 20 teams, and a really good RB (when he’s healthy).
Come to think of it, I’m not really sure why Dallas is going 8-8 and missing the playoffs. They’ve got more talent than almost any other team in the NFL. I guess their problem is between the ears.
But I digress…
Hopefully Mike Vick or Vince Young comes out.
Obviously I was kidding about Dez. I was going for the Omar from The Wire effect - i.e. you wouldn’t think he were gay from just seeing him work.
Let me be very clear in saying I don’t care who the supposed gay NFL player is, and I’m frankly disgusted that this is even an issue in this day and age.
I do have to counter one of your points though. Miles Austin being a #1 on about 20 teams? That’s a joke. The dude has had one great season and one good season in his seven years as a pro. As soon as teams started to focus on him as the primary offensive weapon, they were easily able to shut him down. Granted, his health issues haven’t helped him any either, but he’s just not that talented. I agree with Dez and Demarco though, both great football players, one just needs to get his head on straight and the other needs to figure out a way to stay on the field.
I really think Romo is one of Dallas’s biggest problems. Dude could choke on jello.
I agree. However, let’s be frank about the realities of an NFL locker room–lots of young, testosterone-filled guys that might not be as gay-friendly as the rest of corporate America.
For the record, when I was in the Marines, we had our own bedrooms, but I shared a bathroom with a gay guy. After physical training, I’ve showered with gay guys, and changed in front of them in the locker room. And a friend lived in an apartment with two gay guys. (Not a couple–just both happened to be gay.) We are both of the same opinion–it’s not much different than showering/changing/living with a straight guy.
Agreed. I really don’t think the players care, just a bunch of media hype from the outside.
Are you trying to sell us Miles Austin as a top 10-15 receiver??
Is it feasable that there are 16 teams with #1’s that are worse than Miles Austin?
Not sure who it’ll be but could be big $ in it. Might be a game changer for a mid-lower tier player.
I do think it’d be funny if it was Tom Brady.
Miles Austin’s 2012 stats:
66 catches, 943 yds and 6 TDs
which ranks 30th, 25th and 34th, respectively.
He’s above average, but I think you’re allowing your team allegiance to overvalue his production.
I used to live with a gay guy, my apartment has never been cleaner. Other then that, like you said, not much difference. I think gay guys probably have alot more fun then straight guys. It would be dope to be able to get laid whenever I wanted.
You shouldn’t be using gay as a noun. It’s an adjective.
Wiktionary and Merriam-Webster both say it can be used as an adjective and as a noun.

Is it feasable that there are 16 teams with #1’s that are worse than Miles Austin?
Is it feasable the other 15 teams have better #2’s than Miles Austin?
I’m expecting a big year from Dez. He’s ranked #2 on my list for this upcoming season, ahead of AJ Green. His last 7 games of the season: 10 TDs with an average of 115 yds. If he can remain healthy, I don’t think 1,500-2,000 is out of the question.
