- Married with one kid. I should’ve start the program 10 years earlier…
32, Bozaigao…I hear ya…Have a 15 month old
21, i celebrate it every year
21(2). I celebrate every day.
I stopped counting after I turned 21
started at 25. Now 31 and finally passed L3. took a break a year in between there somewhere but yeah.
i hope to finish at 44 next June. Surely better to do this exam when younger, but having experience in the field is also an advantage. Having real world experience can put the curriculum into meaningful context, that’s been surprisingly enjoyable. I would encourage CFAI to increase the minimum age and work experience, people will get more out of it.
Did Level 3 when I was 26. Should have done it earlier.
completely agree. I’m 35 and I know I wouldn’t have gotten nearly as much out of the curriculum if I did it at 25. Not sure you can adjust age directly, but increasing work experience a few years may indirectly adjust that age number based on perception. Maybe? Just my 2 cents.
I’m young, but old enough to study with original CFA Institute curriculum.
