I think the timing is off a bit for it to be wedding night rape. Tywin was Hand for several years though and Aerys could have raped her at anytime or they could even have had an affair.

Indeed. That was a stupid oversight. Aerys was digging Joanna for a long time (several references him saying she was the best looking woman in Westeros), and Aerys always hated and feared Tywin. Makes it prime for some rapin’.

I wasn’t planning on it, but got invited to go on Friday night. Just need to see if my brother’s old Star Wars tee shirt from 1980 fits me. I don’t want to look stupid after all.
Going on friday as well. May have to break out my Mandolorian body armor for the occasion.

We have a 14-screen IMAX, a ten-screen EPIC, and a three-screen drive-in. (Never been to the drive-in.)
Just bought my tickets for the Friday 4:10 a.m. showing. I figure there won’t be too many idiots showing up at 4:00 a.m. for a movie.
Even if you’ve seen this before, it’s worth watching again. It’s by far the best Triumph the Insult Comic Dog sketch. He’s roasting nerds outside of Attack of the Clones. So many priceless one-liners.
Early reviews say it’s awesome. Leave tomorrow for 3 1/2 weeks in South America, so guess I’ll be seeing it in Spanish. I guess I should have learned Spanish by now 
I’m normally not so much of a nerd as to watching a movie on opening weekend, but this is the kind of movie where you’ll unintentionally hear spoilers. And if I don’t watch it in the wee small hours of the morning, I probably won’t get to see it until after the new year.
FYI - the only movies I’ve ever watched on opening weekend were the Matrix 2 and 3, and I was dragged into those.

I had to go pick up my ticket in person. I actually asked the lady who helped me, “Is this really 4:00 in the morning? That’s not a typo or something?” She said that it was really 4:00 in the morning.
24 hours from now, I will be able to post spoilers, including the opening crawl.
In the theater now. I’ll give you my official review in about four hours.
