Job search advice?

Hi, I first want to preface that I’m not soliciting any applications or resumes via this forum.

So, when I was looking for jobs as an analyst, it was tough initially for me to find the right opportunity. Finally, I did find a good analyst job in 2010 in quant finance, and my career has progressed satisfactorily since.

My question now is, how to find good candidates? Specifically, I’m trying to find junior quant finance analysts, within a couple of weeks, but I want to avoid recruiters. I’m thinking about going straight to colleges and the salary does significantly beat most average MS Finance starting salaries.

Where do I start the search for this process? I can go directly to colleges. Any advice?

I’m pretty sure if you put a job listing on the internet you’ll get 1000 requests. If not use your network. This can’t be a real dillema

I believe his challenge is quality not quantity.

Use the CFA Jobline?

Every job you see on the jobline can be found on other job sites.

Top 2 MBA programs/Alumni networks little cubby. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere.

jobline sucks. don’t pay for it.
