‘rational middle’ means undoing the repressive government/corporate control structure and allowing people of goodwill to cooperate how they see fit. it means acknowledging reality and letting the people bear the responsibility for their actions (which are subject to reality), not trying to dictate it from the top down. above all it means trusting in the goodwill of other human beings – this happens all the time in small towns. The world is a good place. The only reason you don’t believe it is because you are constantly told the opposite on every media platform.
rational middle places the wisdom of the golden rule above all else. when you and your government pursue this simplicity in good faith, there is no problem too great.

Stumping for embattled Republican Senate Roy Moore Monday night in Midland, Alabama, Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon mocked MSNBC host Joe Scarborough by telling the crowd he went to much better schools - Georgetown and Harvard - than the former Florida Congressman.
The issue? Scarborough is a graduate of the University of Alabama - the largest university in the state his candidate wants to represent in the U.S. Senate. Moore himself attended the school, graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1977.
