GPA currently at 3.9, half way done with b school. i have been bombarding my work slack channels with the trash i post here. hopefully they dont can me. lol. Lets see I just got married this past Friday. I spent 43k on it for 250 ppl. I received about 30k in gifts. My parents gave me 10k. My parents side which is about 80 ppl, gave 16k. Marina’s side gave about 4k with 155 ppl.
I only calculate my net worth monthly. but when i was brielfy lookingat my accounts, weh nthe market shot up. my gains in 1 day was like 35k+.
My net worth skyrcoketed. essentially. my net worth was prolly roughly $550k after the 7% rally. Marina’s net wroth was roughly 100k post marriage. so combined household wealth of 650k. With the gifts, iim prolly at 670k, both last minute expenses.
that said I have to go to London for school but we are making it a honeymoon, marina wants to go to hawaii as well. my principal sponsor wants me to go to sf and napa. so 3 honeymoons.
My mba buddies who are starting a repe are acquiring a 20m apartment soon. once that is solidifed. im quitting my job. marina is scared since i’ll have to take a paycut, and im going to have to leech off her insurance. but after we close a couple more, we should be back to ceteris paribus.
