CFAI is a shadow organization under the CIA. The aim is to keep the world’s brightest minds busy and disconnected from life. Actually, CFAI don’t care about average people, they just make them pass and go back to life. They find out who have the highest results from the targeted countries, and they just make them fail year after year. They let them taste the sweetness of success in 2 levels, then destroy them from inside out. Actually when I passed I felt bad. I felt unwanted. They don’t pay attention to us average people.
But wait, grades are per topic, not per question. Questions normally cover different topics. Leaving a whole question blank, doesn’t mean you’re loosing the full mark of a specific topic. This topic might be covered by other questions.
But you know what guys, yeah, go ahead, leave whole questions blank next year to test this theory.

Disclaimer: I’m not a CFAI grader. But I know a good number of them, as well a more than a few of the folks at CFAI. The grading process on the L3 exam is about as bias-free and professional as you could imagine for a constructed-response system. There are extensive and clear standards for giving points on a given question, and exams arte checked by multiple people. So in order for the pattern you mention to have occurred, it would require multiple graders to conspire in the grading.
So color me sceptical. They bring in outsiders to grade the exams. Many (if not most) of these are professors who’ve done a LOT of grading. It’s a good gig, and doubt they’d want to mess it up.
This is the first step before the ban!
Is the L3 only offered in english? I am relatively new here but it seems the people complaining the most are non-americans. Obviously based on a small sample size so I could be very wrong.
