Yes and no. While staying late might be more important than showing up early. I found showing up early helped immesely as well. If for no other reason than to get face time with execs who show up early as well. Mornings can be golden internal networking time. Worked at my firm at least.
Yep. I suppose I should mention, just because I’m at home doesn’t mean I’m not working. I may not be talking to clients, but I’m constantly thinking about product positioning, sales campaigns for our wholesalers, marketing, upcoming conferences, and, if I find myself with absolutely nothing to do I read every market outlook I can get my hands on.
But, yes, I’m not behind a desk after 4:30 all that often.
