I guess 48… so, when I was born the nikkei 225 was at 12,600 … now it is at 13,800, this means a average annual return of 0.396% I am so glad my parent didnt invest all my college fund into the nikkei Even though I never had one… hmmm
t-shulz yes the japanese do think long term - 100 year mortgages, 100 years for nikkei to recover, 100 years to make a decision, 100 years to realize the rest of the world doesn’t actually beliece they kill whales for scientific research, 100 years to elect a prime minister with a normal hair-do, etc… + good guess on the age ! - + i guess you were born in either 1985, 2001, 2005 or about 3 months ago!
I’m 29…still feel too old to ever go and play with the real high-fliers
26 turning 27 soon (day before the results come out actually! I m gonna be in San Fran on my birthday, at a Radio head concert! )

27 … the oldest person in my exam hall was the proctor in my row. Means except for him … as far as I could see all the other proctors were hot chicks!
First post ever to this forum. Joined b/c I fear I may not have made the MPS for Level 2 after passing Level 1 in December (1st try) and hopefully can benefit from the collective intelligence of this group in the future. I too am one of the “seniors”. I waited too long to start this thing (always had something else going on as my wife can attest). Not quite 40, but it is right around the corner.
I can’t resist getting in on this one - I’m in my 50’s (that’s all I’ll confess to) and female. I do this because I have had a great career in science and got interested in business and finance…partly because I can’t stand to see my baby boomer friends being ripped off by poor financial advisors, partly because if you want to work in business, you need to know what accounting and finance are all about. I love this stuff or wouldn’t do it and I love the energy in young people - you are a delight to work with.

Just found an oldest CFA candidate. He is 62 and is trying level 1 this year for the second time. Try to convince him to post here but he is not interested.
