Passed

Material is easy and interesting except first two topics on convertibles arbitrage and quantitative trading strategies. Do it in September. No joke this is not the beast of cfa type. It is his young brother!

I work in product manager and my manager has asked me to take PMP (product and project managemet certification) before August (when yearly review is due) so will be working on that in June and July. All I’ll get is August and few days in September. will try

cfaboston28 what is the number of certificates, you plan to have? I also considered PMP but because I already have excessive number of certifications (3 internationally recognised + CFA lev2 + 1 local) I decided to stop.

I am not even interested in taking that but my manager wants me to complete. So for promotion, this may strengthen my case to justify.

It is LOL but for PMP most difficult part of exam is filling on-line application form for exam (where you need detaily list all your projects with stages and subtasks and allocate hours to them). It would take a day to feel this form. The exam is doable in 80-120 hours, may be less.

I know this exam can be passed in a month and that is why I will be busy in June and July for this exam and wont have time to study for CAIA. CAIA will come next March
