Here’s the deal man. You’re angry you didn’t pass – I get it. So what you’re doing is lashing out at somebody; this isn’t hard to see. You’re taking one statement I made and blowing it out of proportion as if this is the only thing I have going for me – it’s a reductive argument, but one tends to make reductive arguments when they are emotional. Similarly, emotional people tend to attempt to drag people down with them.
Personally I think hedge funds value out-of-the box thinking and know many look to LinkedIn to see if C-suite people are leaving (especially in tech).
Good luck next year. I’m wrapping this up because, quite frankly, this is really dumb way to spend my CFA day.
What’s both amusing and sad is you seem to have somewhat of a grasp on human psychology around you, but absolutely ZERO internally. You literally made 3 separate threads today to tell us about your successes - 1 to tell us you passed, 1 to show your score/ask about those that beat it, and 1 to notify us you’re officially a CFA. You fail to see how much you are addicted/crave validation, which is undoubtedly prompted by intense feelings of insecurity. So maybe before analyzing everyone else’s flaws you should step in front of the mirror - unless you’re content coming off as a d-bag, which to be frank, isn’t exactly the worse thing in this industry.
