Okay, I get your point. But isn’t UW still ranked top 30 in the nation? That is respectable or is that hacksaw in AF forum?
Aside from UW, other schools such as WSU WWU…never heard of these schools. WSU yes for football…I do agree with one of the commenters above that the location of your school and employer can nulify the hacksawness of your school… If WWU or WSU were located in say CA, how would they get hired at MSFT?
UW is hacksaw for Wall Street if that is what you are asking. It’s not hacksaw for tech but not as good as some of the other schools on the list. Proximity counts. I would call it a regional powerhouse school with little pull outside of the PNW and California for tech. It is one of the better state schools in the country, you can say that. IMO a comparable school / proximity would be NYU for finance in NYC (even though NYU is private).
How can people have not ever heard of Washington State?
