Sorry my friend, really, really sorry actually. Altough I did take a few years off after failing L2 a few times, I started in 1999.
I hope you all pass. You deserve it.
In 2008, I was a band 10 and kept thinking which 1-2 questions sealed my fate. I think Ethics did me in. I studied 200-300 every year. This year, I studied the hardest I have ever studied in my life. I pray for God’s mercy tomorrow. Someday, I will have a story tell my kids… Or maybe even book/movie deal. The song “eye of the tiger” has been my theme song. sh34

I hope I have more luck than you on L3. But you got a lot of patience…
wow this is making me nervous, especially all the L3 fails
This is funny 2 years! 2006 (DEC) L1 pass 2007 (June) L2 pass 2008 (June) L3 pass! 2009 (June) finally got the experience to apply for charter I admire everyone who sits back after failure because my greatest fear was failing and sitting back another year. This was my motivation.
SH34 WOW…well done for keeping at it…not too many people I know could have the patience and drive to stick by something for this long… You know what they say…“it’s not how hard you fall but how strong you bounce back” and you know what; this thing will feel so much better for you than for most people because you will feel that extra sense of relief and success. Good luck to you and I sure hope you pass tomorrow…
2005 - Pass L1 (Dec) 2006 - Pass L2 2007 - Pass L3 2009 - 1 Yr experience 2010 - 2 Yr experience 2011 - 3 Yr experience 2012 - 4 Yr experience On the bright side anyone who fails tomorrow, still has three more chances to take the exam and still beat me to the charter.
2005 - Pass L1 (Dec) 2006 - Pass L2 2007 - Pass L3 2008 - Got Charter. Good luck everyone.
think of it like sex or scotch - the longer it takes the better it feels good luck to you all with your results, scotch & sex…not necesssarily in that order of course…
I don’t mind that it’s taken me this long. I completed my work experience in March this year so I am only 6 months later than I could have been with getting the charter. If I fail this year it will bother me.
“F^%$…seven years of CFA down the drain” --Bluto – Animal House (paraphrased) good luck to all of you tomorrow!! As for a theme song before walking into the exams…I chose “Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson. Great song to work out to also
Five years of misery… 2005 - L1 - Pass 2006 - L2 - Pass 2007 - L3 - FAIL 2008 - L3 - FAIL 2009 - L3 - PASS???
