3 years work experience isn’t enough for most top b-schools. I’d get two years in China and you will be unstopable.

Fool me – you can’t get fooled again…”

rachel, are you sure you’re Canadian? And are you sure you passed L3?
Dreary Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > rachel, are you sure you’re Canadian? Hahaha… This thread is hilarious. I think you should go for the MBA because then the acronyms behind your name will extend beyond your full name on your business card and/or signature. Rachel Li CA, CFA, MBA
Rachel Li, CA, CFA, MBA, PMSer
Speaks volume of these designations if this OP can’t even put together a comprehensible sentence! She is probably from TO, we are blessed in abundance with this kind.
Our ex-president? Bill Clinton?
rachel.li52, Best wishes. Lots of these guys on this board can’t even break 650 GMAT. Many have failed multiple times on the different CFA levels despite having finance degrees and working in industry for years. When they attack you, take this into account. I suggest ignoring all until proven otherwise except for: JoeyDVivre, bchadwick, rohufish, mo34 (a few more that I’m missing, but these particular guys are smart and know their stuff, they won’t attack you simply to make themselves feel better)

What speaks volumes of these designations? You are yet to sit level 1 and she has passed her CFA and CA exams. You are in no position to have a dig; I am amazed by your audacity to even try! Who really cares about articulation on internet message boards anyway?
Rachel, my english isn’t that great either. I didn’t mean to attack you. However, others will and especially in the finance industry. The other day I saw an associate read some sort of cover letter and mocked the woman’s grammar and english.
I think it’s awesome that Rachel could manage to get through the 3 CFA exams without being fully proficient in English, since it’s not her first language. I’ve spoken English all my life, have scored high in verbal standardized tests, and I “still” found some of the reading passages tricky - such as the ethics portion especially. If anything, that shows to me she’s MUCH smarter than the average poster here - early-20s to mid-30s dude with English as their first language. Many jackasses who attacked her here so viciously, hilariously, would be outclassed by her in sheer brainpower.
she is not good, she didnt answer my post.
storko, be quiet before I write another haiku about you
Who cares about writing. It’s the ability to generate $$$ that is the most important. See, even Bush went to Yale. Even Sarah Palin came so close to becoming our VP.
Why do you need to go to a business school? You may easily become an associate without an MBA, it will only be faster. Besides, you will spend those 2 years actually earning both money and real work experience (contrary to spending your capital/accumulating debt for 2 years in case of going to a business school).
Yes, but if nobody believes in you or gives you a position, then you won’t get anywhere. ancientmtk Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Who cares about writing. > > It’s the ability to generate $$$ that is the most > important. > > See, even Bush went to Yale. YES YOU CAN.
