Not CFA, but FRM will definitely help you, if you are planning to break into development teams at IBs, they pay better than Google… not a bad deal!
I am a FRM and wonder if anyone can share his/her sample IT work experience descriptions that CFA considers acceptable and grants charter to beholder. Thanks a lot

Same goes for CFA that also gives an edge, because IT guys/developers in banks know a little about finance, and neither they show great interest in understanding it. Having studied and passing the exam speaks enough. Existence of charter is immaterial. He’s in IT, he’ll be in IT.
