It was difficult… basically, yea, just went in my pants. It was raining though and I race in a swimsuit so it was not so bad. I don’t think I ended up winning that race anyway. I did not have a good run. Not the best day but apparently peeing on a bike is a skill I can be proud of?
HOWEVER, THE OTHER NIGHT, I DRANK A HALF GALLON OF WATER WITHIN THREE HOURS OF GOING TO BED, SO THAT SPECIFIC NIGHT, I WOKE UP THREE TIMES.
(Well, I actually did this three nights in a row, but I scaled it back after the third night. Now I’m back to once per night and first thing in the morning.)
you shouldn’t have to get up from sleep to take a leak at night. assuming you are not chugging water right before bed, you should be in deep enough sleep that a semi full bladder doesn’t wake you. could be any one of a million factors, but obviously most important is the couple hours before bed – don’t eat, ideally don’t watch TV or look at any screen (blue light). if you keep your phone beside your bed, make sure you turn it off. the electromagnetic signal increases your brain’s alpha waves and disturbs sleep. Same with Wifi routers – try to put it as far away from your bed as possible in your house. also you and your wife should sleep naked…cuz it’s good for sleep.
if you want to get real extreme you can buy lights that do not emit blue light for rooms where you spend time before bed.
iPhone’s have that new night shift feature - I’m not sure if it actually works though because my girlfriend wanted to get a kitten so my days of uninterrupted 7-8 hour sleeps are gone. That thing always decides to wake me out of the deepest REM cycles.
Greenie, it’s not normal for you to regularly have to get up three times at night to pee. You should really see a doctor, how is noone else concerned by this?
so you don’t want tips about fitness and weight loss but you’re worried about being hydrated enough pre work out? If I were you, I’d be more worried about having to pish 3 times in a night.
…i’ll add to my diatribe that walking barefoot on the ground is really good for you and helps with sleep. your body’s cells become electrically charged from so much daily contact with electric appliances, devices, etc. walking barefoot on the ground has a grounding effect that neutralizes your electric charge. good for you in general and also helps you sleep restfully. highly recommend walking barefoot outside at least once a day for a few minutes.
