Nice Brazilian community in Astoria. They’re fun. The subway (which is an elevated train there) makes the area a bit unsightly, but it is otherwise fine, and fairly quick to the city.
next thing you know you’ll find your pet rabbit boiled up into a nice stew…it’s a slippery slope to hell out there…

I lived in both Park Slope (8th and 8th, a block from the park) and Cobble Hill (Court Street) and really liked them. Of course, they may have changed considerably in the past six years. Much more laid-back than Manhattan, more bang for the buck, still very single friendly, and the commute is fine.
Ugh, I was out in Millburn, NJ for a few years. I felt like I was on a desert island, and 1.5 hours to pretty much anywhere in NYC. The most intellectually challenging thing out there was remembering that “Grande” means “Medium” at Starbucks. The GF couldn’t figure out what was bothering me: “everyone works their butts off to be out here,” she said. I understood that she was there for the public school system, but that didn’t mean I had to be happy about it. Just say no!

limodriver, what is it that you suspect!?
I had a suspicion that you were Chinese. Bonus points for you. But then again on a CFA board it is probably a greater leap of faith to suspect that a female member is NOT Chinese.
I’m not chinese? where did you get that idea? I’m italian/irish/austrian… and some other stuff… typical american mut.
Oooh…even better.
not a touch of sarcasm in that post, not at all… lol
If you look like KarenC I don’t have any complaints.
what does karenC look like? she seems pretty awesome… at least during our limited discussion of stress relief… did i mention i was a model?
No, you sure did not. Please elaborate.
i was being sarcastic… although I’ve been encouraged to model, its just not my thing. I’d rather spend my youth and good looks with my nose in a textbook. seriously though.
IheartMath Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I’ve been encouraged to model Good enough for me. Please elaborate.
LOL not much to elaborate on, family wanted me to do pagents, every bf I’ve ever had has said I should model… etc etc… I’m on the tall side, not an amazon or anything…
What are your stats? You know, for the sake of math.
not on here, pulleaseeee…
Email them to me then. KarenC knows I keep things discreet.
