I’ve not watched nearly as much football this season as I usually do but that Liverpool Roma game has reignited my love for the game.

If LFC go through Real will be a real (pun intended) challenge. Ronaldo vs TAA and ZZ must put on Bale against Robertson… it will be a battle of offense since neither team has a rock solid defense. Honest to god I hope Bayern do one so we can play them instead after we torch Rome.
I think Liverpool will beat this Real team, they’ve been pretty terrible this season but they definitely know how to grind out a win.
I get the impression that Bale won’t be making another CL appearance for Real.
If there was anything that summed up Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal post 2006 it was that game against Atletico. Atleti barely got out of their own half for the 2nd half of the game and then 1 long ball over the top, an unnecessary high defensive line, 1 vs 3, the captain kicks the ball into his own face then mustafi slips and it’s 1-1.
I’d bet a nut that they wouldn’t score in Madrid if the played the game 10 times over.
what an absolute farce the FIFA awards were, no idea why they split it off from the Balon d’Or again, it just gets confusing.
No Messi in the top 3 is ridiculous since he was top scorer, top assists and top changes created in La Liga and had a good run in the CL too.
Modric was a worthy winner but Salah probably had a better season. If he played for a decent national team he probably would have won.

How on earth Courtois got the best goalie award is beyond me. But then somehow he was omitted from the team of the year which makes no sense. Anyone who watched more than 1 game of the English league last year would never have voted for Courtois over De Gea who is without a doubt the best keeper in the world.
I just dont’ pay attention to these individual award shows anymore.

That Sturridge goal was immense. The Chelsea Liverpool game as a whole was a great watch. What’s up with Salah at the moment? I remember this time last season he was the same, fluffing a lot of chances. hopefully he bring it back.
ya i’m here, when you coming back?! Wembley’s massive but it’s kinda ugly, lacks a bit of character and the spurs banners doesn’t help 
the pitch is immaculate though and the viewing angles are sound. I am glad I went. Getting to the tube afterwards was a nightmare though. Just imagine 20k ppl being funneled down a 1km walkway queued up to get into the station. I was in that line for a good 45mins.
we were sort of the same last year but i don’t mind as long as we’re picking up points. I’d rather scrape by and peak in March. I expect us to be in the running for PL and CL at that point. He’s clearly in his own head a bit and getting double teamed a lot but Mane is picking it up and to be honest we havent even played all our new signings all that much. Long way to go yet. I think he can get 25-30 this year and I’d be perfectly happy with that.

yeah but made my pilgrimage in the off-season so no PL match for me. it will probably be pretty difficult to get home tickets this year truth be told, I’m hoping to see them away (in london) mostly.
