Top 15 cities for CFA exam

Not to mention it seems that the exams just get harder every year, so if its going to be a necessity its better to get through it now!

Alchemist1320 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- In India…people have only come to know about it in last 5-6 years…Im sure… number of applicants are doubling every year…now in India any person doing an MBA ( from top 20 in India) in finance is doing it as a must do thing… also Mumbai–7,586 doesnt give the correct picture as this centre was announced only last month…and an equal number is appearing from nearby locations such as Colombo, Singapore, Kathmandu, Thailand etc Im also surprised at nyccfa2010’s inference that Indians might have some issues with english…true for whole India…but surely not true for people who appear for such exams…in India somewhat 5 % people have similar language (read english) skills as any body else in the world… I am not trying to cut anybody’s point…just clearing some misconceptions…so plz no offences Me pursuing MBA in “International Business” from top 20 in india  and i know english…lol

You are sitting for Level 2 in multiple choice. L3 is the only one with an essay format. Take L1 & L3 out and recalculate the numbers to see if you have a home court advantage for this session. Not sure what “home-slice” means but I’ll take the compliment on me being young. My English must be rusty. Must revisit my ghetto-slang book of incoherent speech…

__ Jun-08 __ Percent L1 __ 44063 __ 0.478524343 L2 __ 33449 __ 0.363256264 L3 __ 14569 __ 0.158219394 Total __ 92081 __ 1 probably around 36% are L2 candidates in each center

Did you visit there anytime? 7000+ in Mumbai is really scary… Based in US, I thought it would be an advantage to get a charter and look for jobs there… I was surprised to see so many out there… Dammm… I think i need to head to Kenya, do some volunteering. Climb some mountains in Egypt…to get into top 10 b-shools… lol :frowning: wot else, business schools hate me since I am Indian comp sc grad…& high GMAT does not impress them either… So much competition man !!

I’m in the South, Atlanta GA and I’m Asian, do I count? Or have I been disowned already?

To be in the society you need 48 months of experience…i have like 8 months only… U mean ur struggling for admission even with a high GMAT score?..thts so sad! That figure scared me as well…but then…we cant hide from competition…adapt to it. Porter says: To beat the competition…Do different things…or the same things DIFFERENTLY

per capita…NOBODY beats Montreal… sorry and its pathetic,…every idiot has a charter here…its sad…cant wait to leave
