Where to get a suit?

This is true. Jos Banks does a respectable job as well. Just wait for a sale, one or the other usually has some kind of deal going.

Anyways, I shop at Calvin Klein. For pants, shirts, and suits coats my style is designer dress. For shoes, I would suggest you score a pair of Salvatore Ferragamos, but if it’s too much money Kenneth Cole is fine. Some people wear Cole Haans. But a lotta people don’t take care of their shoes. Your shoe has to be shined. Your clothing has to fit and you should be in shape to make the clothing look good. Add personality through accessories such as cufflinks, ties, socks, belts. And be confident in your threads. If you’s a shmuck with no confidence, being in good threads is awkward.

WHEN U LOOK GOOD…YOU FEEL GOOD~!!!

Lose weight, get threads, rock threads

Simple as that

If you’re taking care of yourself, the ladies will take care of themselves…

Ok. So I ended up getting a Burberry suit, as the cut fit the best. Apparently, I am “slim” fit, and my right arm is 1/2 inch longer than my left arm.

Stupid expensive suit better be worth it…

I don’t think my problem is lack of confidence. My problem is that I dress like a hobo.

Awesome man, I’m sure it will be.

Yes, buy nice shoes and shine them (or get them shined). Took me way too long to learn that one.

Also, comfortable shoes are worth paying for. They’re worth paying a lot for. One of my most comfortable pairs is Cole Hahn. Another is a Kenneth Cole. Well made shoes can last you 5-8 years easy. Very well made (but costly) shoes should last a lifetime (occasional resoling accepted).

Dr. Scholl’s insoles are your friends too (though some shoes are comfy enough that you don’t need them). I actually prefer the foam to the gel. The gel squishes around and I don’t feel as balanced as foam. Insoles are another thing that it took me way too long to discover. At $3-6 per pair, it’s one of the best comfort investments you can make.

I’ve found that Hugo Boss stuff looks good on me. I have a fair amount of Calvin Klein and DKNY too. I don’t have a bespoke suit, but admit that I’m curious as to what that would look like. I have gotten off the rack stuff tailor-altered, and that’s been worth it.

As for ladies, good shoes and a good haircut take you farther than a nice dress shirt and tie and accessories. Suits work for a lot of them too, but that depends on their taste.

…all suits look the same to me…

^ Yes.

I have two tiers of suits. The office warriors (off the rack, but not bad at all) I wouldn’t be crazy if they take a coffee hit, and three bespoken, 120s IIRC, that I rotate when have a meeting with my big boss or his closest circle.

brooks brother is good. I would surf GQ.com a bit. Look for a slim lapel. Really, slim everything is what’s modern today. You don’t have to wear skin tight emo pants or anything, but the slimmer and more well tailored, the better. Trust me bra.
