What’s with people who spell “loser” as “looser”?

Bunch of pillow biters I tell ya

You should consider moving to US not Canada.

Atush what is it that you currently do, if you don’t mind me asking.

Anyone who is that negative and miserable and feel the need to put people down by telling them it can’t be done blah blah…Small

Full time MBA student.

Live in Canada as an international student.

Well, I don’t wanna aruge with you on this topic but we don’t have a level playing ground for international student and I mean the one who have skills and experience.

First of all, jobs prefer Candidates with permanent residency and citizenship.

Your employer has to make sure that offering a job to an international student with a valid work permit shouldn’t affect labor market so basically they have to provide labour market impact assessment for every offer they give to international student. It is damn hard for them to do this because for an entry level you obviously have tons of Canadians in the market.

Thanks to the networking, I finally managed to build my network but I came across lot of professionals who told me that gatekeeping is something which will keep you off even though you are qualified. Studies show that if you have white Canadian name then you have 35% higher chances to get an interview call. Why is that? Canada is seriouly a lot different that US. Lot of people don’t understand that. My buddy have got cloud engineering job in Seattle right after school. It is hard to see that happening in Canada.

Well. I’m no one to tell OP whether he should risk his current career or not. It’s his choice. Do whatever you want. I don’t care.
