World Cup 2014

Portugal is rattled by yesterday´s hammering, that might be an advantage for Klinsmann´s boys. But it´ll definitely be difficult for the US to proceed to the next round…!

Today we´ll see if Belgium is as strong as claimed…

^ I have money on Mexico today. At 10:1 it was an easy call.

^ That´s a gamble, don´t think they´ll make it against Brazil…

As a US fan, I’m comforted that we got three points while playing really badly in possession. We are capable of playing much better than what we showed yesterday. Michael Bradley must have been drunk when he had the ball.

Portugal will not be easy but we’ve beaten them in a World Cup before, and even a draw would be a fine result.

US seems to getb an advantage…going to be hard for portugal since their 2 main players are carded out

us has no ball handlers, you cant lose time of possesion like that

Of course its a gamble. I don’t expect Mexico to win, but I think their odds are better than 10:1. Expected returns…

Looking tough for my Belgians here. What the hell.

I had Algeria making it out of this group along with Belgium.

It was on the cards, terribly unbalanced team.

No width from the fullbacks, no decent quick thinking midfielder to recycle the ball with speed. They’ll crash out at the R16 or QF stage.

what a save from mexican goal keeper-----just a beauty—

^ Sup player, do I know you?

Has this been the World Cup with the fewest ties at this stage of the tourney?

russian goalie in trouble with putin

russian goalie’s simple error reminded me of england’s last world cup, ball bounced out of goalie hands in what should have been an easy block, and bounced into the goal.

Twitter heat map after US goal:

Or most goals?

What a terrible mistake of Russia´s butterfinger goalkeeper!!

Is it just my impression or do we see above average penalties?? 6 penalties in 17 matches seems a lot…

I thought Bill Buckner played first base.

World champions to go home tonight.
