How do we solve for x using Algebraic notation on HP 12c? This is to calculate EAR /suppliers’ trade credit.
Or is it not so probabilistic to do that kind of problem-solving in Level 1?
From first principles:
x = (100/99)^(365/16) - 1 = 0.25769
On the BA II (should be similar to HP12C):
P/Y=C/Y=1
N 0.04384 PV -99 FV 100 CPT I/Y 25.76857
