2018 exam day

I was on the CFA Exam Calendar under Candidate Resources and saw that the exam date has changed. The 2018 exam day is now June 23. What are your thoughts? I like it because it’ll be 3 extra weeks of studying.

So the CFAI thinks it is not enough to ruin our whole year, it now wants to ruin our summer too.

I really don’t see the big deal with this. I am completely ok with the date change.

will the results come out at the third Tuesday of July or defer 3 weeks as well?

It’s because of Ramadan, that’s what they mentioned on their twitter account.

I like the change, it enables me to procrastinate longer.

Move to the Southern hemisphere, we’re only missing out on more winter.

Here in India, it’s hardcore monsoon season, it basically rains all day and if it doesn’t rain it’ll be hot. No summer ruined for me, I’m happy about the extension. I’m sticking to my original study plan, and greet the extra 20 days or so as bonus revision time.
