Here’s the thing.

I passed CFA level 1 in 2017 but couldn’t take level 2 this year due to certain reasons. I intend to do so next year. The course material won’t be available up until July or August. However, I wish to take up study as soon as I can. So, should I start studying from 2018 course material or is it advisable to wait until the curriculum is out in case of significant changes, if any. I am personally leaning towards the former since I could utilize my time better.

Help much appreciated!

The core material usually doesn’t change much (there’s no avoiding pension accounting buddy!).

Just relax and enjoy the summer. You will have plenty of time to study even if you start in September or so.
