24-year old Deutsche Bank salesman commits suicide

http://news.hereisthecity.com/news/business_news/9207.cntns?so=1 Young Deutsche Banker’s Death Leap Stuns City It’s not often that this writer has a personal interest in a story that he is writing, but such is the case in connection with the sad death of Anjool Malde, the 24-year-old Deutsche Bank Global Markets equity salesperson, who jumped to his death last Sunday lunchtime from the sixth floor terrace of the building that houses the Coq d’Argent restaurant in the City of London. And typically, Anjool is said to have made his death leap wearing his best suit and with a glass of champagne in his hand.

I’d go with more than six floors to make sure to get the job done.

Why did he wait so long though? Im not being a di*k but logically last October was the time to do it and still qualify for continuing education credits.

I wonder what kind of suit he had. I don’t think I have a suicide-worthy suit. I’d have to jump with Levi’s and a pounder of Old Milwaukee.

Funny, I would have saved my nice suit for the funeral.

I wonder what he knows that would make him do such a thing? Peak oil is imminent? Jews control the media? Global warming is accelerating? Michael Jackson isn’t dead? Tacobell uses rat meat?

Agreed. 6 floors is still in that "could become a vegetable for the rest of my life” zone.

Ioino, 6th floor seems to be sufficient for the job.

I happen to know the guy. He was an extremely talented fellow; had a bright future ahead. It’s a very shocking and unfortunate loss. RIP.

I have heard of people killed themselves falling down a flight of stairs. Obviously, the higher you go, the better odds you get. I deem 12th to be reasonably sufficient.

The surface you’re falling on also plays a part. Sad story though…

does it hurt though? how long are you alive to feel the pain? i am guessing if you jump off of anything about 15 floors that you have a heart attack by the time you reach the 5th.

So what happens if you go skydiving in that case…

I doubt it would hurt. You’ll be dead almost instantly as your brain stem is severed on impact. The heart attack is open for debate. If you’re at peace with your decision you should have nothing to fear? It’d be interesting to find any statistics on this.

I think you would reach some sort of terminal velocity after a few hundred feet. Six floors wold be sufficient.

The guy next to me in the rehab hospital jumped out of the 4th or 5th floor and just wound up in a wheel chair.
