Glad to see Turd doing well

So the armed deputy assigned as the school resource officer just chilled outside the whole time the shooting was going down. So much for placing armed and trained people on school grounds.

Police aren’t there to protect you

he wasnt getting a bonus

Lol

One thing that often surprises people is that there are a large number of gun people, maybe not quite a majority yet, but close, that just want the NRA to die. It’s the anti-fa of gun ownership.

These teens do not need to be scripted. Their youth and earnestness makes it all but impossible for any adult to advance a counterargument without looking indifferent to the horror these kids have been through. If you don’t agree with what they want, they seem to suggest, you’re OK with mass shootings—as Mr. Rubio and Ms. Loesch found out the hard way.

Quick show of hands for those with children: How many of you look to your teens for political wisdom, whether it’s the daughter obsessing over her Snapchat streaks or the son who would spend his day eating Doritos and binge-gaming “Grand Theft Auto” if you let him?

_This in no way diminishes the barbarity of what happened to the Parkland students. It is, however, to insist on the obvious: As terrible as their experiences were, the attack gives them no special insight into the complex array of public policies that might have prevented the slaughter. _

Now that’s the content I need.

He’s saying he’d save US students, not Napalm Vietnamese villages for freedom.

Oh damn.

I’m interested in how this plays out. Hoping the momentum doesn’t sap on background checks although history says it will.

This guard thing is interesting. The guy says he thought the shooter was outside and the shooter did break out windows which could have led to the confusion. I’ve shot a lot growing up and it is reasonable to believe that it could be hard to locate the source of shots depending on what structures or woods were nearby causing sound to echo. I still think you run into the school since that’s your first prerogative but I’m willing to take an agnostic stance. Dangerous situations your psychology can really play tricks on you, a lot of people are unwilling to recognize that.

it’s always gotta be about him…and draft dodger and can’t even stand up against KKK, neo nazis, NRA, Russia, Putin but he will run into bullets mmmmkay. Twitter Warrior ftw

The “guard thing” proves more guns won’t solve the problem.

…as if anyone smart would think they would.

Oh no. Now you gotta arm the lunch ladies.

so as Trump and NRA suggest, what we need is EVERYONE armed at all times…So when some maniac starts shooting…everyone will panic and just whip out their pistol and shoot from the hips while ducking and running backwards…Imagine that scene…because only in the movies where you see people shoot with 1,2 quick triggers with proper front facing stance…

One of my older brothers who have served and a west point grad said even after years of officer training, weapons training, tactics training, and thorough planning, all that goes out the window as soon as you hear one shot zipping by you…Case in point…a few years ago a recently fired dude showed up to the front of the building of his employer and shot his boss…The building was Empire…yeah the one in NYC with 4 cops on every block…So naturally cops came swarming in in seconds and in the end dozen bystanders got shot all from cops’ bullets…

I subscribe to the many worlds theory and I need, I NEED, to be on the worldtrack that has Obama saying this instead of Trump

Like it or not this has been easily the most fascinating presidency.

Absurd may be a more accurate term
