wouldn’t that mean local jail, prosecution office and sometimes but most of the times, parole offices would be in the same place. Having just a police station on the same location as schools might sound and look good because of synergies but the lack of synergies between the local jail house, prosecutors and parole offices might nulify that.
Having been in local jail I can confirm they are not at local police stations. Each station has a temporary holding cell, that is it. Prosecutors are also not based at police stations, typically they are at court houses as are parole offices. So basically none of that is accurate. There are often sheriff offices at court houses but that’s a subset.
