I have a Zero Haliburton briefcase, my only piece of status luggage. Really cool looking, but heavy as hell and I hardly ever use it. I was bitchin’ back in the late 80’s though.

Agreed. I also have a ZH aluminum briefcase from back in the day, and now it is sitting in the back of my closet collecting dust. This is unfortunate, because I was raised on action movies where all the badasses seemed to carry their stuff around in these cases. Unfortunately, this silver screen coolness doesn’t translate to the working stiff rocking the train or an hour-long suburbia commute stuck in traffic.

In short, unless one’s daily commute is in a helicopter, the aluminum briefcase can reek of douche.
