Still only 1 box after submitting 15 applications (1 of those was submitted a couple of days after Level 1 and 2 results were out)

1/10. How bad was it? Well really bad. I started fairly late this year (mostly because I had a delusion view of my ability - Passed Level 1 after studying for only 8 days before the exam everything was >70 + Passed Level 2 after studying less than 100 hours in 2 weeks everything >70 except derivatives and ethics between 50-70). I did the CFAI mock 2 days before the exam, scored <50 on both. On the last day before the exam, scored 60 in 2015, 50 in 2014, and 50 in 2013. Coming to the exam, I thought I have 60% chance. After AM, I thought I still have 50% (left 40 points blank). After PM, quickly checked ethics (remember all 12 questions and contexts), found out I got 7 wrong, 3 correct and 2 unsure. I thought I still have 30% chance. Got home after a few drinks, checked several stuff and know I got at least 7 formulas wrong. The day after, another 5 questions came back, checked and got them all wrong. I only pass if I get 100% on everything I wrote in the morning and 80% of the not-yet-confirmed questions in the PM (140 + 41*80%*3)/360

I got a scholarship for level 1. Did not apply for scholarship for level 2

Did not submit any work experience or salary/net worth or anything since level 1
I mean u started this theory to begin with so its not surprising you argue this point…
There do seem to be a lot more “definite fails” on the 1 box side…
We will need to start a thread tomorrow with results and 2 box vs. 1 box status to really see if this is a tell i suppose…
the truth will set you free. I AM THE HIGH SPARROW. atone and walk the 1 box path with me. i sinned by not studying but now i am light and free.
We have 1 report of a CFA who can register for the scholarship. That blows this whole theory out of the water. The theory is based on the logic that those who pass aren’t allowed to register for the exam.
plus the percentage of people who got two messages is way too high.
BUT, just because this appears to be debunked…doesn’t mean we all can’t pass!!!
unless we find another CFA to login and check the scholarship app, this theory is failing.
The report could be trolling. It probably is… probably.
The passing rate between active members of this forum must be above 70℅…
Danv, in all seriousness, my CFA friend, we’re hanging on threads here.
can you post your username and password into the forum so we can check your account? Given you’re our resident charterholder on the scene.
kidding…not kidding…kiddding…not kidding
Lol
Spoke to another Charterholder, he has 2 boxes…
lol…and we’re back
good luck all. sleep well.
I’ll get back to you tomorrow by 10am
knowing how weird coding can be… the real test is to look for people who are very confident that they failed / passed (especially failed) and ask them to check their results and report back.
Right…but all it takes is one dude to pass on the one box side and…debunked!
honestly I think it is a tell, but I’m in the 1 box crowd…and would be stunned if I failed…so trying to stay optimistic.
Same here my friend, 1-Box and would be very surprised if I faildd
i have no
friends
only Analystforum
I’m late to the party… What do you guys mean by one box or two boxes? After I click on Manage scholarship application, I see: CFA Program Manage My Scholarship Applications Return to Home CFA Program You are not eligible to apply for Access Scholarship Return to Home
It is a bit discouraging though that a guy with the handle “I Failed” is in the 1 box crowd.
Then you’re a dreaded 2 boxer!!
congrats
