I see both messages. I am a CFA member. I am 8 or even 9 on 10 confident that I passed.
You should see two options: One is “Apply for 2017 Scholarship” and the other has both an “Apply for 2017 Scholarship” and “Not Eligible.”
After finding out which you have, come on here and answer the following questions:
Which message did you receive (both or Apply for 2017 Scholorship only).
Are you a CFA member, affiliate, or a candidate only?
How confident did you feel you passed the exam (1-10 scale).

On the one hand, this “tell” makes a lot more sense than last years’ long-error/short-error message debacle, which was plain stupid.
On the other hand, this “tell” can be just a website malfunction as I’m sure a lot of CFA Level I and II candidates must be applying for scholarship, not to mention the frenzied AF CFA Level III members applying and withdrawing their applications.
For what its worth, I have the “Not eligible” message, am a CFA member, and would be quite surprised if I fail. I have never applied for scholarship before.

Too many overconfident of pass candidates with the 2 Boxes, and overconfident of fail candidates with the 1 Box.
I wouldn’t be too concerned about this but the fact that those confident in failing is in the same group as me seriously scares me.
Then again, quite possibly because those with 1 Box are not forth coming and those with 2 Boxes are, and the fact that those on borderlines or just below borderlines with 2 Boxes had reinforced their confidence of passing raising their own assessment from borderlines to 6/10 or 7/10 after seeing this could play a part…

I was a Regular CFA member, but let it lapse in 2009 [So not sure of what it is now]
Expectation : 6/10 [Expect to score 70% in most areas, but not sure of ethics at all]
The website seems to have other issues too.
(a) I was trying to renew my membership (Which was possible till a few days ago, but wanted to wait till the results - I am unlikely to take the test again or membership, if I FAIL today). Now, when I attempt, I get the following error.
We detected an Error which may have occurred for one or more of the following reasons:
At least one record must be selected to execute this action. (CFA_MBRACTION_100) (SBL-EXL-00151)
(b) I am now able to apply for fresh membership, that was not the case till yesterday. Some sections still display 'RENEW MEMBERSHIP".
Edit : If I use certain links, I am able to progress towards REACTIVATE MEMBERSHIP. Also I do not find myself in the Member directory (May be the case, if its a lapsed membership)
© When I register for CFA Program, I am led to a general page about requirement of registration today. Till y’day “Already Registered” used to be the message displayed.
Sounds that the webpages are a bit out of shape.
