Admission Ticket

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if you all have issues with regards to the admission ticket? Most of my friends who are also taking the exams have their first and middle name printed on the ticket as their given name whereas I only have my first name. I doubt that I can still change my profile information with 4 days to go before the exam.

I would just like to ask if they are super strict with this? The printed given name on my ticket matches the given name on my passport.

I don’t think this will be an issue, but I guess you can call CFAI if you want to be sure…

I had the same question and CFAI told me to change it so my exam ticket included my middle name. They changed it pretty quick though, I’d give them a call.

They didn’t print my middle name either, I emailed them and was told the names must match exactly and that they can still change the exam ticket. I would fill in a change of identification form

If your name on the ticket matches the passport then you should be fine but call them just in case. The last thing you want is for the proctor to deny you entrance because of a minor problem and have all that hard work go to waste. I had an issue with my addmissions ticket and they fixed it the day before the exam so you should be good to go as long as you call them soon. Good Luck!!

I just found that my last name is printed with small letter, e.g. “Abc Def” but “Abc def” on ticket. Does it matter for this kind of difference?

I’ve emailed them and surprisingly they changed it immediately. I guess they just want to scare everyone with their 3 weeks rule. Hehe
