I am level 2 candidate in the CFA programme, since my goal is to work in Asset Management/Research , I hope for an Hedge fund or any financial system entity. So, I do not pursuit working as an accountant, but I believe having a strong accounting/assurance and mainly understanding of finacial statement is a must, that is why I go for ACCA
I not studying ACCA myself but perhaps try search if there is any nearby education providers such as Kaplan etc where you can attend night courses for you to prepare ACCA modules. Self learning just using for ACCA is a huge barrier to overcome if your background is not acct/maths inclined.
Personally I do admire your ‘never stop learning’ approach. Best of luck!
