Your theory makes sense if you add ambition to your formula.
Short and unambitious guy = Spends his days at the gym to compensate
Short and ambitious guy = Spends his days making $$$ to compensate
Warren Buffett (although he isn’t considered short) admitted in his biography that he stopped going to the gym because he knew he couldn’t be the best at it. Being the best at his craft was important to him because that was his way to attract members of the opposite sex as he didn’t possess the traits that was attractive to women.
Well, these countries are certainly rich relative to most other countries. If you go to Princeton you can still say Brown is a good school (although you probably won’t).
I think this applies with one major tweak, it must be relative instead of absolute. Hence, if you are Arnold or Ferrigno you are not short in an absolute sense but perhaps you view yourself as smaller than 7footers. It all comes down to your world perception.
Of course, Arnold is a professional body builder. So not only is his weight lifting ego driven, but his livelihood depended on it.
I do not associate working out with lack of ambition. In fact, many ambitious people are compelled to try to “win” at all aspects of life. This is why so many finance people participate in triathlons, or just spend time working out so as to out peacock their peers.
i see a lot of poor meathead/gym rats, along the lines of compensating in one area for lack in another. If you make relatively little money, being jacked is probably your best and most affordable bet at pulling in snatch.
I am 5’ 9", which is probably pretty normal considering ethnicity and country of origin. I think being too tall would not be so good. You cannot sit in a small car and airline seats will be extra uncomfortable. Maybe your house will seem like it has smaller square footage. If you fall down, you might get more injured, since your center of mass must travel a greater distance to the ground. If you have an erection, blood will be slower to return to your brain and you might pass out. Such are the burdens of great height.
