Based on the typical post content and tone of the posts alone, who are the most vertically challenged AF members? Please feel free to rank some of the most popular posters. Curious to see who thinks who is the shortest, tallest, etc.

I would go with CSK for the simple fact that he is Jewish.
Most that I know are very well educated, cultivated, successful, ambitious, connected… but shorter than the average height for a North American.
I thought he was Russian, Some of those guys are overgrown.

In Russia, the talk was that all American guys are tall and big - raised on vitamins. I come here and it’s the opposite thinking about Russians. Funny.

There is a place called Goa which is Russian hippie paradise. I don’t know if they come from a specific reigon of Russia but they set up shop there for like decades and they’re like whales…vertically and horizontally.

It’s probably because most Americans think all Russians are like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky IV. You know, the one who says, “If he dies, he dies,” and “I must break you” and “He’s not a man–he’s a machine.” (He also has a line in Russian, but I can’t remember it.)
Contrast that with Chong Li, who says, “But brick not hit back” and “You are next” and “You break my record, now I break you–like I break your friend”.

I would say that’s the North American average.

The height of US people varies by ethnicity. White people are the tallest. Asian, Hispanic and Black people are significantly shorter. In fact, ethnicity skews most US demographic statistics - income, education, family size, etc.
In response to the original question - if you want to know the shortest people online, see who works out in the gym the most. Body building is a rational response to diminuitive stature. Increased musculature is one way to compensate for being otherwise physically uninpressive.
Good hypothesis, but I don’t believe it holds water. I would guess that the height distribution in every gym I’ve ever gone to has been roughly approximate to a sample taken at any other public location.
If anything, I would guess the opposite – bigger, taller people with genetics naturally predisposed to carrying more muscle and quadriceps resembling the beefy slabs seen on a T-Rex’s legs find themselves drawn to seeing how much more massive/shredded they can become, while dimunitive girly-men with low Test/Est Ratios stay home and Twitter their frustrations on pages nobody ever, ever (and I mean, ever) looks at. Again, another hypothesis, but this one, I believe, has the more superior thought process employed in its formulation. Sorry about that, Ohai.

The dutch are the tallest…height must have bestowed survival advantage when you live below sea level lol. Nordic folks also up there and thats without the Warrior Helms.
In general, the whiter and richer the country, the taller the people are. Netherlands, Iceland, Sweden, and other northern countries’ populations are the tallest. They have Caucasian populations that are unpolluted by the shorter genes of dark southerners. France, Italy, and Spain, some of the southern most European countries, are also among the shortest.
