Someone has the answers sheet of Boston Mock PM 2021? I did the AM and it was ok, but can’t find the answer for the PM.
Greetings friend! Are the answers no longer available on the CFA Institute website, in your candidate resources section? That’s where the 2021 Boston Mock Exam and answers were published earlier this year - is it the same one still posted there? Or have they updated/changed it?
I found it! it’s in the AM answes but began from page 19…
Do you know if there are more mock in the CFAI? like previoues year for L1 or L2? or the Boston Society are the only one?
Greetings again friend! Some folks might have downloaded prior years’ PDF versions from their study periods. Traditionally, they are only putting Boston Society mocks up since 2020 in the candidate resources section, and there isn’t an official library of prior mocks on the CFAI website beyond what they offer in your candidate resources section for your active exam window. For L3 it’s just one mock they offer each year and put in your candidate resources section. For someone to have more mocks than this, they would have needed to have downloaded PDF versions from prior study sessions or connected with someone who did that. I am not sure how it works for L1 and L2, whether they also offer only one Boston Society mock exam or if they still offer 2 for either or both of those levels. It used to be that CFA offered 2 official mocks in the candidate resources sections, but this seems to have changed in 2020 at least for L3, as far as I can tell.
I would beware of using too many old mock exams offered through CFAI, they update and change the curriculum every couple of years which means that older mocks probably have superfluous information or outdated questions. I would only go back 1-2 years maximum on those mocks, if you find them. Also - you should know that the 2020 Boston Society mock exam for L3 unfortunately had a some errors in the solutions, this was discussed at points in 2020 previously in the forums here. So if you find that mock for L3 don’t be disheartened if some of the answers seem a bit odd.
