Are +400 multiple choice practice questions on the website made up of prior year real exams?

Hi guys,

Are the +410 MC practice questions on CFAI website made up of the prior year real exam questions? Just wanted to know so that i can plan the remaining days.

In the meantime Vitalsource is not working :slight_smile:

No, they are mocks and they are made up from mock writers (not the same as exam writers)

In terms of applicability, do you think solving past exams trailing back to 2007 would make sense? I think last 5 years would suffice, what do you think?

I did from 2003-2018. I like more practice. A lot if the individual and institutions questions are legit.

Did you skip the questions you knew weren’t applicable, or try them just for practice? I am thinking of reviewing all the mocks going back that far, but singling out questions that I know are still testable and practicing on those.

I do evetything question except the rebalancing one that asks about constant mix and cppi … I think everything else is doable, for the most part, based on current text – for example, the returns based analysis questions are mostly removed from the current equity section but still doable based on the tiny returns based analysis text that still exists in the new equity chapters.
